• No parties or events are allowed at Gramya. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, this area is predominantly families and nature-loving groups. This is doubtless part of its appeal to you too! Between the hours of 8pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum. Thank you.

• Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated if possible; please contact us in advance

• Full payment is required in advance to confirm your reservation

• The maximum occupancy is 8. Additional guests are not allowed without prior consent

• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Designated smoking areas are provided

• Pets are not allowed inside the accommodation

• Do not move furniture, artworks, or artifacts within the property

• Comply with all safety instructions and evacuation procedures provided

• Lock doors and windows when leaving the property

• Keep valuable items secure, and the management is not responsible for any loss or damage

• Please clean up the utensils, kitchen & kitchennette after use

• Use the dining area for meals and consuming food in bedrooms are not allowed

• Please be aware that Attappady is a region with regulations on alcohol consumption. It is considered a "dry area," and the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages may be restricted or prohibited

• We kindly request guests to respect and adhere to the local alcohol laws during their stay

• If you have specific questions or need guidance regarding alcohol regulations, please feel free to inquire with us

• Conserve energy and water. Turn off lights, fans, and geyser when not in use

• Be respectful of the local community, its customs, and traditions

• Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings.

• Guests should exercise caution when swimming or engaging in water-related activities.

• Children should always be supervised, especially when outdoor and near water bodies

•  Property is situated near or within wilderness areas, be cautious of local wildlife. Do not approach or feed wild animals, as it can be dangerous and harmful to both you and the animals.

• Notify us of your hiking plans, including expected return times and routes. 

• Campfires are not allowed. If campfires are allowed on the property, please follow safe campfire practices and guidelines provided.

• Ensure that fires are fully extinguished before leaving the site.

• For your safety, please refrain from venturing outside the property premises after evening hours. The specific curfew time is 5pm to 7am.

• The wilderness and local environment can pose potential risks during the dark hours, including encounters with wildlife.

• Guests are encouraged to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the property and engage in indoor, or evening activities provided on-site.

• We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or health issues that may occur during your stay

• Be aware of the local emergency contact numbers and the nearest medical facilities.

• In the event of an emergency, please contact us immediately

• Guests are expected to comply with all the rules and regulations outlined above. Failure to do so may result in eviction from the property without a refund

Breakages

Accidents happen to the best of us. Should you break anything minor such as smash a glass or chip a plate of course we won't charge (do just leave a note for the housekeeper if you can remember). If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!), we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later, and get everything ship shape in time for the next guests, so please do get in touch with us as soon as possible. Guests are responsible for any damages to the property, including furnishings, amenities, and the surrounding environment. Intentional damage due to mistreatment or violation of a policy will result in a damage fee of at least Rs.10,000. Other damage beyond typical wear and tear, will result in a fee equal to the cost of replacing the item. Thank you!

Visitors

In compliance with local regulations, our accommodations are exclusively available for guests who have made reservations for an overnight stay in one of our rooms. We do, however, recognize that you may wish to host a local family member or friend for a visit at our place during daytime hours. Kindly inform us of such arrangements, and we will make every effort to accommodate your request, provided it does not disrupt the experience for other guests or our neighbors.

Please note that all individuals staying overnight in a room, regardless of whether they were initially included in the reservation, will be subject to an additional guest charge if the room's intended occupancy limit is exceeded.

We retain the right to request any individual to vacate the premises without refund in cases of non-compliance with our policies or disruptive behavior.

Cleanliness

We take cleanliness very seriously, and we ask that you do too. Please leave the property in the same condition as you found it. This includes not coming inside with dirty legs and making the things dirty like sofas and beds. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and hygienic environment for all of our guests.

Rubbish and Recycling

We provide two bins for your sole use: one for wet waste and one for dry waste. Please bag all waste before putting it in the bin. If you have more wet waste, please use the compost pit. Thank you for helping us keep our environment clean.

On departure, please empty the house of all your possessions and put anything you don't want to take with you in the relevant bin. Thank you for your cooperation.
